Easter.
Hello everyone. Spring break just happened even though it wasnt much of a break. But I would rather have something than nothing. Easter happened also and we got a big thing full of candy as tall as my little sister. Mostly chocolate that I wont eat. Easter bunny came brought me and my family some things. I colored eggs with my sister. It was a blast :) I love her and it. We also had a easter egg hunt that me and my brother took part in. Very funny at that time. My parents put money in it and im not talking like quaters or pennies. They put sixty dollars just in the egg hunt. Layton only found seven but had two hundred from work. I found twenty-four. Which left Makenna with like thirty-four. Makenna was so happy because she never gets that much money let alone finds the golden egg. After we had the egg hunt when dad got off of work we went up to my grandmas grave in newark and planted flowers and made it pretty. It was fun to go visit her again. Havent been up there but like two times since she past away last july. I got home and went over and stayed with Shawnna and that was alot of fun. So in the end that was my easter. Funn for me.

Mississippi proposes selfspaced, online curriculum
A Mississippi superintendent found a new $20 million proposal that will offer seven new career paths for high school students. Also some online courses that will help the high schoolers get prepared. The plan is called Redisigning Education for the 21st Century Workforce in Mississippi. This proposal is a vision for the future for Mississippi's middle and high school students. The state wants the kids to pick classes that go with their future career. And for the kids that wanna graduate ealry or that are behind can take online courses that would get them ready to. They have made this proposal because they wanna make a less drop out rate for the students and keep them on the right path for the future. The superintendent says that the curriculum is default and it is more on a college level than a high school/middle school level. The superintendent hopes that proposal will help students like these recognize they have a wider array of options beyond dropping out of school. The program will let the kids move at their own pace and will also receive support through on-site instructors.

Boy went on a bike ride and met a killer.

It was just an ordinary day for the Miller family on Monday, February 15, 1986. Cathy Miller and her Husband were at their house and their son Chuck Mauk went out for his daily bubble gum run up to the nearest store. When he was on his way he got stopped by a guy that was recalled to be in a white car. Chuck talked to this guy, that no one can seem to figure out who he is, for about twenty minutes witness’s say. The thirteen year old boy Chuck was walking or riding away back to his house when he was shoot in the back of his head by a gun. A neighbor kid ran and told the Miller family and they all rushed out to see what happened. A crowd was already forming and the boy was lying on the pavement next to his bike in a pool of blood. To this day they can’t figure out who shot this poor innocent little boy this night. They have had some suspects but nothing concrete. For more details on this article please visit: http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/03/31/grace.coldcase.mauk/index.html
My opinion on this article is that this is really tradgic and in life you really dont know what is going to happen. You just be walking a block away or something and get hurt. Or even worse. This little boy new nothing of what was going to happen. I think that this is really sad and it probably hurts the familiy to still live with the feeling of losing their son and having no clue who killed him either.

Softball
Hello. Seems like I am blogging again on here. Its been a while. Its a new week now. A lot of things are going on here. Softball has been picking up. Last time I was on here we didnt have it everynight and we were still up here at the school and not down at Central. Pratice last week was hard at first I was a little bit out of shape. We had practice for like an hour and a half I think. Now this week we are going a little later. Softball isn’t really hard its just that they are pushing us because its conditioning and they are making cuts this year and they want to know how is good and who will just give up. They are only having one team because they don’t want the same thing to happen to us this year like what happened last year. (Canceling the hole JV season’s games.) So in that case only a varsity team and no JV. We do a lot of different things in practice such as: stretching, running our five minute run, throwing, fielding, hitting, Indian runs, sprints and so on and so forth. I think everyone wants to make it that is coming. Everyone shows up and tries their best. But in the end about nine people are going to be cut. We have like twenty some girls showing up now. And cuts are thursday of this week. I guess we will see how it all goes.

First post of the year
Hello. So the name is Sandra Michelle. I am a sophomore at a school that is okay I guess. I am taking a computer class with Mrs.Borton. The nine weeks is still young but I believe that as the year goes by it will still be fun like now. I took a class like this last year and I enjoyed it alot. I plan on going to college and majoring in business and or accounting. That's my plan. I also plan on graduating next year as a junior and getting out of here. I have to take two classes over the summer and then finish up during the 09-10 school year. So as you can see I know what I want to do with my life. My parents are okay with it the path that I am headed down to. Besides enjoying my computer classes I love to play softball. I have been playing for nine years and this will be my tenth. I had my dad as my coach when I was littler so I guess you can say that I was spoiled on the team. I have played every position on the field. Some better than others, but hey were all not suppose to be experts at every place you get sent. Softball has taught me team work and respect towards other people. I also did cheer leading for about five or six years. It was fun but I don't think I would do it again. To many people you have to please. But I will say that I loved to go to all the competitions and learn the routines. I am also in color guard for my school. This will be my second year. And hopefully second year as captain. Theres more to flags than twirling you learn alot and make a bunch of new friends. Which I enjoyed for the most part. I'm not all sports and school. I do like to go out and hang out with my friends at their houses or mine. And go to the movies and out to eat or whatever. My cell phone is the way to get a hold of me. (that or myspace/face book). I always have it with me. I am ditsy and act like a blonde twenty four seven when I'm not. Well that's all I can think about to write for today. Goodbye.
