It was just an ordinary day for the Miller family on Monday, February 15, 1986. Cathy Miller and her Husband were at their house and their son Chuck Mauk went out for his daily bubble gum run up to the nearest store. When he was on his way he got stopped by a guy that was recalled to be in a white car. Chuck talked to this guy, that no one can seem to figure out who he is, for about twenty minutes witness’s say. The thirteen year old boy Chuck was walking or riding away back to his house when he was shoot in the back of his head by a gun. A neighbor kid ran and told the Miller family and they all rushed out to see what happened. A crowd was already forming and the boy was lying on the pavement next to his bike in a pool of blood. To this day they can’t figure out who shot this poor innocent little boy this night. They have had some suspects but nothing concrete. My opinion on this article is that this is really tradgic and in life you really dont know what is going to happen. You just be walking a block away or something and get hurt. Or even worse. This little boy new nothing of what was going to happen. I think that this is really sad and it probably hurts the familiy to still live with the feeling of losing their son and having no clue who killed him either.
